Storage & Backup Lead required for long-term project contract, working for a leading global IT Consultancy onsite in Frankfurt or Stuttgart with their client, a major name in the Automotive industry.
Summary:
- Excellent understanding of IT architecture, concepts and solutions and broad foundational knowledge in Storage domain.
- Understand and analyze client requirements in Storage, Backup and DR area (Administration and Migration) and propose pragmatic solutions
- Develop solutions, proposal, effort estimation and presentation for Storage and backup
- Develop Architecture, high level and low-level Storage and backup design drawings and design documents.
- Produce PowerPoint slides which are both content rich and visually appealing
- Lead a team of 5-10 people
Requirements:
- SME with good knowledge on the following technologies - SAN (HPE 3Par, IBM, Dell EMC), NAS (ISILON, Unity, NetApp), Object (HPE, iTernity), HPE/ Cohesity, Dell ECS Backup (Veeam, IBM ISSP, Dell EMC)
- Architect, Install and configure storage, backup, and DR solutions
- Required deep technical skills in Storage & SAN Domains,
- In depth knowledge of storage & backup subsystems like Netapp, Dell / EMC, Hitachi, Commvault/Veritas backup solutions
- Deploy, Manage and troubleshoot SAN performance
- Deep experience in Installation and configuration of storage subsystems is required
- Experience in Performance Analysis and Tuning of storage subsystems is mandatory
- Experience in Storage data migration techniques is most important
- SAN switch deep knowledge base should include Brocade/CISCO switches, Director & routers
- Design and deploy backup and DR solutions
- SAN, NAS data migrations across heterogenous storages
- Fluent in German and English
Daily rate is negotiable, depending on your experience and qualifications.

TS International Solutions has been engaged by a leading Oil & Gas operating company to support their search for a SAP RE-FX Expert to work within their corporate headquarters in Abu Dhabi. Onsite or remote working is possible, depending on your preference. This is a strategic project role, sitting within the central IT Directorate.
